That aspect of car shows really annoys me. I frankly don’t care how clean your engine compartment is, or (much)  what you have under the hood. I’m there to appreciate the design of the body, and that giant ugly hood just gets in the way of my photos.

Looks like a V8 at first glance but is in fact the glorious 4.2l DOHC i6 in my Jaguar.  This one’s maybe 180HP but SO SMOOTH!
